Born in 1980, lives and works in Paris, France.
After obtaining a DNAP* then a DNSEP** from l’École Européenne Supérieure de l’Image from Poitiers where she studied Arts, Annabelle Lourenço then studied photography at ENS Louis Lumière from which she graduated in 2009.

Her photographic work tends to explore the intimacy of people, whether it is through faces, personal belongings that project a specific world, as well as walls, imprinted with the memories of the presence of those who lived there.
Wandering is also at the heart of her subjects, representing a drift, attractive and scary at the same time, allowing encounters with the most diverse and confused feelings.

Nevertheless, her demons often strike back and she would never resist photographing a dog passing by, a granny or a vase with flowers...
